Q. What activity or person from your youth influenced you most and provided you with life wisdom?

A. I was very active year-round in various sports growing up and continued with a softball scholarship at a Division I college. My involvement in sports at a young age taught me the importance of collaboration, discipline, and effective communication. Team sports taught me how to work with others toward a common goal, manage setbacks, and value all team members’ contributions.

Q. How would your colleagues describe you and what you bring to the team and to clients?

A. My colleagues would likely describe me as approachable, reliable, and solutions-oriented. They would say I bring a balance of empathy, understanding, and decisiveness to the table. My leadership style is centered around empowering team members and supporting their growth while staying focused on achieving our goals.

Q. What would you say is the biggest opportunity for your clients today to achieve financial wellness?

A. The biggest opportunity for clients to achieve financial wellness would be to set clear goals and create a strategic financial plan that focuses on their organization’s short-term and long-term needs. Clients can build and maintain a financially healthy business by adopting disciplined budgeting, forecasting, and regularly reviewing their financial plans.

Q. Which of the company’s core value(s) resonates with you most?

A. If you had asked me five years ago, I would have said Hustle. I naturally gravitate to the mentality of “doing whatever it takes to get the job done.” Today, my answer is our core value, “People First.” We have worked very hard at Badger to foster a culture of caring for people, both externally and internally. Our team members, clients, and community are at the heart of everything we do and truly represent our purpose at Badger.
