Meet Megan Petroski, CPA, our Controller. Megan has over ten years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on serving public and private companies in the upstream and downstream oil and gas industry. She also has experience serving construction, real estate, and professional services, among other sectors.

Before joining Badger, Megan graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Finance.

When not at work, she loves to spend as much time as possible with her family. She and her husband, Scott, have three beautiful kids: Luke, Savannah, and Caleb. They spend their time watching their kids enjoy all the extracurricular activities, from baseball to dance, basketball, and cheerleading. When not at a sporting event, they love to spend time at the lake or pool and cook up some delicious barbeque.

Q. What activity or person from your youth influenced you most and provided you with life wisdom?

A. My mom has definitely been the biggest influence on my life. As a working mom myself, she showed me what hard work, dedication, professionalism, and being a leader looked like. She has always shown me how important caring for people is in any role.

Q. How would your colleagues describe you and what you bring to the team and to clients?

A. I believe my colleagues and clients would describe me as someone who is process-oriented and seeks to achieve efficiencies by leveraging lessons learned from my previous experiences with Badger.

Q. What would you say is the biggest opportunity for your clients today to achieve financial wellness?

A. I think having clarity about their current financial situation and visibility into their KPIs compared to industry standards drives exciting insight, actionable items, and goals with our clients.
